TOTOMED manufactures the NASAL OXYGEN CANNULA at our WHO-GMP certified facility in Chennai, India, under ISO 13485:2016 quality management standards. Each unit is individually packed, ETO-sterilised (where applicable), and batch-tracked for full traceability. Our design process incorporates clinician feedback from ICU consultants, nursing staff, and biomedical engineers to ensure the product performs reliably under real ward conditions — not just in laboratory testing.

Raw material
- •Odor-free medical graded PVC (Oxygen tube and nose tip), for sheer comfort & safety of patients.
- •‘White transparent’ and ‘Green transparent’ polyvinyl chloride particle is used for colour availability, while transparent plastic material allows care providers to better monitor patient’s conditions instantly.
- •‘DEHP free’ type is available for option which is trended to be more widely used.
Oxygen tube
- •Normally 1.8 m to 2.2 m tube is configured.
- •Inner diameter: 5 mm and 6 mm are available for options.
- •Star lumen designing to minimize the risk of airflow termination, although its kinked.
- •With luer slip (conventional) connector and luer lock (universal new type) connector, while luer lock connector is designed for harder grip with central oxygen supplying system in hospitals.
Nose Tip
- •Available: Straight nose tip, curved nose tip (softer material gives more comfort to patients), flared nose tip.
Intended Use
- •This item is an Oxygen transporting device with double channels. It is used to deliver supplemental oxygen to a patient or person in need of extra oxygen by nasal cavity in which nostril sucker is placed. The connector port of the cannula is connected to an oxygen tank, a portable oxygen generator, or a wall connection in a hospital via a flowmeter. The oxygen flows through the tube.
